  1. Preheat oven to 450F. Drain and rinse chickpeas and blot them with a paper towel to dry.
  2. Place chickpeas into a mixing bowl and toss with oil, salt and desired seasoning.
  3. Spread onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake in middle rack for 30-40 minutes, or until brown and crunchy.
  4. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.

Roasted chickpeas can be seasoned to your preference. Try the following spices or create your own combinations:

  • cumin
  • cinnamon + brown sugar
  • tamari + maple syrup
