Peanut allergies are so common and serious that many schools and childcare facilities now ban peanuts from their premises.

It was once thought that all peanut allergies were lifelong. However, some studies have shown in some cases that the peanut allergy can be outgrown.

  • Hydrolyzed plant protein and vegetable protein
  • Vegetarian meat substitutes
  • Chili
  • Almond & hazelnut paste, marzipan, nougat
  • Dried salad dressings and soup mixes

NON-FOOD SOURCES OF PEANUT:

  • Ant baits, bird feed, mouse traps and pet food
  • Cosmetics and sunscreens
  • Craft materials
  • Medications and vitamins
  • Mushroom growing medium
  • Stuffing in toys
